Our Therapy Team
Darcy Harbour, B.Ed, MA, RCC
Director, Counsellor & Chaos to Calm Program Facilitator
I’m passionate about supporting you to deepen your connection with yourself and strengthen your relationships with loved ones. I’ve been helping people grow and heal for over 20 years now, first as a teacher, then a school counsellor, and now as a therapist in private practice.
My approach is very focused on meeting you where you’re at, noticing your strengths and supporting you to find solutions to the challenges you are facing. I will share my observations and make suggestions on trying a different approach to help you break unhelpful patterns. Your emotional well being is my priority.
My background as an educator helps me have a deeper understanding of childhood development, learning differences, neuro-divergence and how various education models can meet individual student needs. I’m also a parent of three children and spent five years in the homeschooling world. I see how different temperaments in children require different approaches to managing emotions and I enjoy speaking with parents about best practices for growing their children’s emotional resilience.
I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education (2001) and a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology (2012), both from the University of Victoria, in Victoria, BC. I was a BC certified teacher and am now a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Talita Nell, B.Sc, MA, RCC
Counsellor & Mood Managers Program Facilitator
I believe in the transformative power of building strong, trusting relationships to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can truly express yourself, explore your emotions, and develop the skills needed to thrive.
My approach is strength-based, focusing on identifying and nurturing the unique strengths and abilities of each client. By asking thoughtful, empowering questions, I help clients explore solutions, gain deeper insights, and move toward positive change. I am passionate about equipping individuals with essential life skills, including emotional regulation, problem-solving, and effective communication, which are key to navigating life’s challenges with confidence and resilience.
I bring extensive experience working with children, youth and their families in a variety of settings, including schools, community programs, and now in private counselling practice. Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting children through a wide range of challenges and working collaboratively with families to develop strategies that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and healthy communication.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria, as well as a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from City University. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Talita will be accepting new clients in September 2025
